Well Ruby is just over 4 months old now & has done a lot of growing & learning since I last put some photos on here. We've had a few sunny days ( a rare event ) so the pair of them have enjoyed a romp around outside & Minnie kindly introduced her new little friend to the joys of digging holes & burying treasure ( dog biscuits ) while Mum ( me ) isn't watching, or rather when they THINK I'm not watching.
The early growth on my Hydrangea plant has been chewed off & the weeping willow has been pruned to within an inch of it's life thanks to a set of VERY sharp puppy teeth. The generous stack of dog chews mustn't taste as good as soil, twigs, pebbles, worms ( alive ) leaves & the odd crisp packet that the wind blows into the garden. It's a world of adventure out there & it's still only March. I'm looking forward to introducing her to the duck pond when the weather warms up, but she'll be firmly on the end of a lead !

As you can see on the last photo she's losing some of her black puppy coat & has a lot of silver / grey coming through on top of her head & it's coming through on her body too. I'm VERY curious to know how she'll look when she gets her adult coat but I'll have to wait. Our first yorkie was just like Ruby, jet black / tan when we first got him but he quickly turned into a silver & tan with a mass of CURLS !
Not a single black hair was left on him !
