A CARD FOR DAISY

I was asked to make a Christening card for a little girl called called Daisy which couldn't be done without including the namesake flowers could it ? But I didn't have any in my stash so I decided to have a go at making some. Like most crafters I've got drawers & cupboards FULL of various punches that I rarely use & to be honest if someone spread them out in front of me & said pick out the ones that belong to you - I wouldn't have a clue because I can go months without looking at them then all of a sudden I'll start using them again & this was one of those occasions.
So this is the punch I used
Each flower has 4 layers, I just stacked them on top of each other & made sure that the petals didn't line up so they were staggered & used a small dot of glue to fix each one down. The flocked centres are made by using small pieces of cotton wool rolled into little balls. I put a small dab of PVA glue on my fingers as I was rolling them into a ball & then gently rolled each one into yellow chalk to colour them. These were then glued
into the centre of each flower. Here is the finished card.
