I was asked to make a " pretty " card featuring a caravan for a lady that enjoys a caravan holiday. Sounds easy enough but oh boy - I searched all over for something that looked right - you know when you go searching & just can't find the right image ? I'm sure all you cardmakers out there know what I mean - I ended up finding a black & white image & coloured it in myself with my Copic Pens ... & then I thought the white card that the image was printed onto looked too harsh so I chalked it with red crafters chalk which gives a nice soft " blush pink ". THEN I couldn't decide on a backing paper ... sigh ... pink didn't look right & I didn't have the right shade of blue so in the end with a bit of " tweaking " on the printer I printed out a blue backing paper that seemed to blend in well ... so here it is ... A Caravan Card For Kathleen on her 70th birthday.
Welcome to my little corner of the world where I get to show like minded people my crafting efforts ! I live in the North West of England in Chorley, Lancashire. I enjoy all types of paper crafts mostly card making & making jewellery. I'm happily married & we have one daughter. My " baby " is Minnie my little yorkie who patiently sits by my side while I'm creating & regularly pinches ribbon & off cuts of paper & card from my desk. Thank you for any comments you leave, I appreciate them all..
The latest member of our family, our cheeky little yorkie Minnie. She's a right little character, full of energy & always up to something ... put it this way, you don't need the tv on for some entertainment when Minnie is around !
