A NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY

OHHH MY GOODNESS - did I get a SHOCK yesterday !!! Unbeknown to me my husband & daughter had picked out a new puppy for me ... As you can see from the photos on the right on here, I have my furbaby Minnie - a cute yorkshire terrier. My first yorkshire terrier was Ben who we sadly had to put to sleep 2 years ago due to old age, so Minnie was left on her own. Everything in this house has to have a friend - including the goldfish ... so here we are ... the latest addition to our family ... let me introduce to you " RUBY " our 8 week old yorkshire terrier. She is the smallest little thing you've ever seen & Minnie is totally DISGUSTED with us at the moment !!! HA HA HA But she just needs to get over the fact that she's no longer an only child ... When we first brought Minnie home it took Ben around 2 weeks to even look at her ! Then suddenly they started to play together & that was it - best friends. So I'm giving Minnie LOTS of extra cuddles so she doesn't feel left out & little Ruby is charging round the house like a hamster on speed ... quite oblivious to the initial objections of her soon to be best friend ...

My husband is home for 2 weeks for the Christmas holidays so at least I've got help for the settling in procedure ....

SO .... we aren't going to need the TV on much for some entertainment are we ???? I hope everyone has a " VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS " & a " VERY HEALTHY, HAPPY NEW YEAR "
